1. What we collect about a child
A first name or nickname, the grade, the syllabus, the answers given in practice and diagnostics, mastery progress, and an optional parent email for the summary and weekly digest. A learner is identified only by that first name and an avatar the parent picks. We never ask for a child's contact details.
2. Children's data and parental consent
edudrill is used by children under a parent account. A parent or legal guardian must give consent before a child profile is created: the Add learner step asks you to tick the consent box. The data we collect about a child is minimal: a first name, an avatar, the grade, the syllabus and the answers given in practice. We show no ads and we never sell data. Parents can view, export, correct and request deletion of their child's data at any time. We intend to comply with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP), including verifiable parental consent for children under 18 in India.
3. Companies that process data for us
- Stripe: payment processing. Card details go straight to Stripe and are never stored by edudrill.
- Base44: app hosting and the database that stores your data.
- Our email delivery provider: sends the diagnostic summary, deletion confirmations and the optional weekly digest.
- AI model providers: generate explanations, hints and practice content. Question and answer data may be processed by them for that purpose only.
4. How long we keep things
- Active account data: kept while the subscription is active, and for 12 months after cancellation, then deleted.
- Diagnostic sessions without sign-up: kept for 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Billing records: kept as long as required by law.
5. Parent rights
A parent can access, export and request deletion of a child's data at any time. Export and deletion requests live in the Parent area (Export my child's data, Request deletion). You can also write to us for anything else:

6. No selling, no ads
edudrill does not sell data and does not show ads. Learner pages carry no third-party trackers.
7. AI use
AI model providers help generate explanations and content, and suggest what to practice next. They never decide a grade or a score on their own; the levels on the diagnostic report come from the answers themselves.
8. Parent email
If a parent email is entered, we use it to send the diagnostic summary and the optional weekly digest. We never sell or share it.
9. Payments
